At GWord Studios, you collaborate with me from the first conversation to the final install. You can count on direct communication, fast responses, and deadlines that are actually met. Custom Glass Process

GWord Studios designs and builds large-scale glass installations—wall compositions, sculptural panels, and illuminated lightboxes—for residential, hospitality, and commercial environments. I also collaborate with trusted metal and wood fabricators, allowing for expansive, design-forward possibilities.

1. Initial Inquiry
Start by reaching out and sharing the essentials:

  • your color palette or “color story”

  • inspiration photos

  • site photos and drawings

  • notes on any sculptures from my website that resonate with your aesthetic

We’ll then schedule a call or Zoom to review your ideas and begin shaping the creative direction.

2. Concept Development
Based on our conversation, I’ll create:

  • initial design concepts and layout sketches

  • initial color samples

Your feedback guides the evolution of the design.

3. Design Presentation
A polished design package is prepared, including:

  • revised sketches and proposed composition

  • color samples

  • site-specific layout and measurements

  • project timeline

  • detailed budget

  • installation options

Note: Clients provide measurements of the installation area and information behind the wall (wiring, metal studs, etc.).

4. Approval & Deposit
With approval of the design, budget, timeline, and color samples:

  • installation plan is finalized

  • a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin production

  • timelines vary based on scale and complexity


5. Fabrication
Your sculpture is created with precision, and all hardware is integrated during this phase.
Every project is built by hand in my studio with a focus on craftsmanship and artistry.

6. Final Approval
Before shipment, you receive:

  • photos of the completed sculpture

  • images of each individual glass component

  • a full-size paper template

  • a layout showing the sculpture over the wall template

This ensures complete clarity for a smooth installation.

7. Shipping & Installation
Each commission is carefully packaged and shipped with:

  • a life-size paper layout for accurate placement

  • all necessary hardware

  • detailed installation instructions

On-site installation is available:

  • rate: $150/hour

  • The client covers travel expenses (if required).


8. Final Payment & Delivery
The remaining 50% balance, along with all shipping costs, is due before delivery.
